Our Label
The name for BRIDALTRACK wine is
derived from the Bridle Track - a
nearby 4WD track crossing from one side of the Flinders
Ranges to the other, along a hilltop ridge, just north
of the Port Germein Gorge. In the
early days, people travelled by horseback along this
track.
The vineyard of Mopeta Wines, which
produces the grapes for the
BRIDALTRACK label, can be viewed to
the northwest from this point. It is told that in the
early 1900’s a young bridegroom took his bride via
horse-back to their new home over the Bridle Track.
The label is an image of a Picasso style bride
overlooking the Bridle Track. The two red dots, which
symbolize the western and eastern side of the Flinders
Ranges, are joined by a black line representing the
Track.
The logo and wine labels were designed by Mihart
