"The Dennis Family grew this cool juicy brightness on the Flinders western piedmont at Baroota. It’s wicked, delicious and disarming in its fruity honesty. Wild dark cherries, beetroot and licorice are its flavours; its texture strapping and lithe; its finish is succulent and moorish with fine dry tannin. Its best cooled a little. Perfect for dried figs, walnuts and goat’s cheese."

"The Dennis Family vineyard is at the head of the Flinders piedmont on the Port Germein side of the range. The wines have always been very good; this was made by Paul Drogemuller at Paracombe. Fragrant, piquant and sassy, it seems particularly alive and fresh, as if it were somehow more natural than others. Lovely fruits and a long, dry finish."
